Normally we would post this only on the portuguese version since it was a brazilian event, but it was such an amazing experience that we want to share this with all of you:
This saturday was the Brazilian Release Party for Battle Studies! It happened in Rio de Janeiro, at the local Hard Rock Café. There was a lot of people in the street for the carnival so the traffic was intense and the heat was impossible, but even with this people from around the city and others cities such as São Paulo and Petropólis came together for this event.
We had a cover pocket show with the amazing Rafael Straube (if you check JMMA you know who he is) and Daniel Simões, that agreed to take place for Rafael Lima in the last hour and we are very thankful for that. They played songs from all the cds, all the great hits as Why Georgia, No Such Thing, Daughters, Heartbreak Warfare and many more. It was amazing. In Why Georgia we even had the “So what, so I’ve got…” with everybody singing, yeah John you don’t know what you’re missing. The pocket show was divided in 2 sets, and between them we had a quizz and who aswered first won a magnet, and also there was a “I Love JM” ecobag and a “I am bigger than my body” t-shirt made by the site to give as prizes. Sony Music Brazil also supported us with 3 cds to give it to 3 lucky fans.
The party lasted for about 4 hours and during that time almost a hundred people showed up! That was amazing! It was more than we expected. Everybody was so nice and willing to meet others JM’s fans. This is definitely something that we want to do it again. Maybe next time will be to celebrate a concert in Brazil hun? 
We want to thanks for the support, especially from Rob and from Susi. You guys are amazing! John Mayer is very lucky to have such wonderful fans as you.
